"What makes this show so good is that the duo's material would be funny even if presented conventionally. When delivered by two socks, it becomes genius." - **** Fest
Alexandra Legouix and The Sunflowers have created a sophisticated but accessible fusion of latin, jazz and pop influences. We make music that people can relate to on many different levels... think about it... chill to it... dance to it... make love to it...
Funky, modern, relevant lyrics and tunes, set to subtly eclectic rhythms....
“Alexandra Legouix and the Sunfowers are likened to Bob Marley and Otis Redding” - Big In The Game

This troupe are all Reading based dancers, all female, with one guy - Josh! They like to show that dance can be translated between male and female and styles don’t have to be selective to one. This piece is about empowerment to women and shows how powerful they can be without saying anything. They exude confidence and know it!
From one little boy’s special wish great things have come.
Sebastian’s Action Trust is about to open the UK’s first purpose-built facility that will offer respite holidays to very sick children and their families, enabling precious time to be spent together.
Our house, called The Bluebells, is in the pretty Hampshire village of North Waltham. The building work was completed in May and it will welcome the first families in July 2011. The house was the idea of nine-year-old Ascot boy Sebastian Gates shortly before he died in December 2003.
The Trust, which is based in Sunninghill, also gives practical support in many different forms to children battling with life-limiting illnesses and provides meaningful assistance at critical times to families exhausted by the stresses of hospital life and their child’s gruelling treatment.
We do not have a restrictive geographical catchment area and already support families in the South East, principally from Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, however, we are happy to welcome families from outside these areas.
At Sebastian's Action Trust we care about making life a little easier for these children and young people. With your help we can continue to give support where and when it is needed.
Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners through our Lost Dogs & Cats Line or care for them until new homes can be found, giving them shelter and the highest standards of veterinary care.
Over recent years the Windsor site has been redeveloped and refurbished and offers our high standard of care for up to 170 dogs and 80 cats at any one time. The Old Windsor centre operates in exactly the same way as the London Home, only on a slightly smaller scale.
In 2001, following major building work, we were delighted to welcome Prince Michael of Kent to officially open our wonderful new facilities at Old Windsor.
50% of net ticket sales will be donated to Sebastian’s Action Trust (registered charity no. 1105392) and 50% will be donated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home (registered charity no. 206304).
