The globe is a fantastic idea; an outdoor venue in the middle of Alexandra Gardens, overlooked by Windsor Castle. With the sun shining it is truly a magical experience, sitting in the park letting the fantastic poetry waft through the air as you enjoy a glass of wine. Fabulous!

There is a bar for refreshments, seats and blankets are available, although people can bring their own for extra comfort.

Getting there

Alexandra Gardens is situated by the River Thames, along Barry Avenue. It is a short walk from the town centre and bus stops.

Parking is available in the Alma Road car park, Alma Road, Windsor, SL4 3HY. The car park is adjacent to the Gardens.
